Swiss geometry meets emotional tilt. iten began as a logo sketch (1967–69) by typographer Walter Haettenschweiler. The concept underlying these four initial letters has been further developed into a consistent typographic system. Drawing inspiration from the analogue nature of the sketch, the typeface retains its abstract and playful character while introducing new axes: Thin to Bold and Backslant to Italic.
